Lisa graduated with a dual BA in Economics and Marketing from Muhlenberg College in PA, and then went on to complete an MBA in International Business at Fairfield University. Lisa graduated with a dual BA in Economics and Marketing from Muhlenberg College in PA, and then went on to complete an MBA in International Business at Fairfield University. She later went on to complete the Series, 6, 63, 65 and Insurance Exams to attain both the Investment Advisor Representative and Insurance Agent licensures, well as her certification in long term care. Most recently in 2018 Lisa went on to formally become a licensed tax preparer while working along side her father in the family business since 2017.
Lisa had 6 years corporate experience before she decided to take over the securities arm of her father’s business in October 2008, an opportunity that has offered her the chance to assist people as they strove towards their personal goals. “Helping my clients finally understand their finances when we finish a meeting keeps me motivated to forge forward in this complicated and challenging industry. Knowing that I have dedicated my time to helping others, I’m filled with the warmest sense of accomplishment as I celebrate alongside clients watching their goals come to fruition.”
Dedicated to staying abreast of important developments and trends in the industry, which are critical to a strong financial plan, Lisa went on to attain her Certificate in Long Term Care in 2012. This designation, CLTC, is granted by the Corporation for Long-Term Care to professionals completing a rigorous training centered on the mastery of complex nuances in the extended care space whom are committed to educating consumers about the impact long term care has on the overall financial, physical and emotional wellbeing of not only themselves but those that they love.
In her free time, Lisa likes spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, singing, volunteering and traveling. She is an avid animal lover and enjoys exploring nature with her little puppy, Sadie.
Lisa enjoys taking photos while exploring cultures and scenery on her travels and she is hoping to get her scuba diving certification so she can get a better perspective of the wonders under the sea.

Laura joined Valerio Tax Edge at the start of 2023 as a Tax Client Liaison, where she optimized tax preparation procedures and streamlined our tax season operations. Now that she has successfully completed her educational training, she will take on a more lead role as a licensed tax preparer, collaborating with Lisa during the 2023 season

Now that she has successfully completed her educational training, she will take on a more lead role as a licensed tax preparer, collaborating with Lisa during the 2023 season as well as continuing to lead tax season operational procedures.
With a passion for helping people, Laura looks forward to working with our clients to provide them with guidance in understanding their specific tax situation and helping them to prepare their most important financial document of the year, their tax return.
Laura came to us with a previous background experience across industries, holding a Bachelor's degree in Art History, a Master's in Teaching English as a New Language, and a second Master's degree in Business Administration. She has worked with numerous non-profit organizations in their program and fundraising departments to increase access to financial and legal services, education, human rights, and access to the arts.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys traveling, reading, practicing/improving her Spanish, rescuing cats, meditation, and learning about other cultures. She can’t wait to learn more about the passions you and your family have!

Jessica joined us in 2017 in her role as Client Engagement Facilitator, where she oversees and optimizes operational procedures to further enhance the level of service we provide our clients.

Jessica joined us in 2017 in her role as Client Engagement Facilitator, where she oversees and optimizes operational procedures to further enhance the level of service we provide our clients.
As part of this, Jessica works diligently to keep new applications moving through the carriers efficiently and helps to effectuate strategies that have been outlined for our clients. She is an integral teammate in keeping the office abreast of changing technology and compliance requirements in the industry aimed to protect our client's data privacy.
After she graduated from Roger Williams University with a BA in Political Science, she worked as a recruiter in the technology industry for almost a decade prior to joining us at Valerio Financial Group. Jessica lives in Shelton, with her husband and two adorable boys. Whenever possible, she enjoys some quiet time diving into a good book and escaping on travel adventures.
