Our family tax practice has always been centered upon placing our clients first and this will remain our focus during this tax season.
For this tax season either physical or virtual drop off of your 2023 tax materials remains preferred in order to keep safety at the forefront. However, we have adapted the office protocols to allow for in person appointments. We encourage you to call the office to discuss the following options in more detail to identify the best solution to keep your family tax filing on track.
We thank you for helping us do our part in keeping your friends and family safe. Your continued patronage, support and cooperation during this challenging time is much appreciated.
We ask that you call the office prior to dropping off so that we know when to expect your materials. At that time we will also schedule your pickup appointment.
1. Place materials in our convenient porch lock box & text us at 203.693.9726 to alert us you’ve dropped things off
2. We will begin to process your return and reach out with questions/ to schedule a review & pickup.
3. Signature of your Return can be done either electronically OR in person.
i. For Electronic signatures, access to the internet and a computer is all that is needed.
ii. Schedule a pickup appointment where you can come in to sign documents
3. Once all completed, we will electronically transmit your return to the IRS and state.
We are able to provide access to our secure client portal where you can scan and upload your materials with appropriately labeled files.
1. Once received, we then will complete the return & schedule a virtual meeting to review your tax return.
2. During our review, we will provide you with a unique pin to allow you to review and sign your return.
3. Once e-signed, we can e-file your returns.
All without you needing to leave the safety of your home.
4. Should you wish to retrieve your physical folder with your printed tax return and place to store your relevant tax documents – please simply let us know and we can arrange a time to pick up after processing.
While all our options are focused on continuing to provide personalized service, should you feel that an in-person meeting is needed, we do have a appointment blocks available each week.
Given that these are limited, please call the office to discuss requirements we have enacted in order to offer this option.
